We met at North Beach and wandered up to rock point and back, which just happened to be the location of Matt and Laina’s second date. The two met through an adult kickball league in which Matt was the President. Laina may or may not have had a crush on the president and it just so happened that the league was in need of a secretary which made for an easy excuse to see a little more of Matt.

They found the spark one evening at a free concert in Battery Park and the rest is soon to be history. Matt proposed to Laina while they were on vacation in Block Island last summer and will be wed in just a few weeks in South Hero, Vermont.
