When Jennilee asked if we could do their engagement session at Green Woodlands in Lyme, NH, I was extremely excited. I love exploring new locations and this one certainly didn’t disappoint. We hiked in and did some exploring while greeting cross-country skiers; many being accompanied by their four-leg pals with wagging tails.

These two met at Dartmouth Hitchcock where they are both employed. Jennilee is a nurse and the two noticed each other while Ryan was doing some work in her department as he was working in clinical engineering.  Last July they went on a family vacation traveling around the south west. They hiked Angels Landing in Zion National Park, which is a crazy hike with steep switchbacks, sheer drop-offs and chains bolted into the cliff to hold as you hike up the spine of the mountain. When they arrived at the top Ryan set up the camera like he was going to take a self timer picture, but really he was videoing and he proposed with her grandmothers diamond! She was completely shocked. I am beyond excited to capture them tying the knot in September at their home in Bradford, VT.
