Alex and Rose
Dorset, Vermont

September 9, 2017

It was the perfect September day. The sun was shining, minimal clouds in the sky and zero chance of rain! Rose spent the morning prepping in the comfort of her parents house, where she was raised, while Alex was just down the street getting ready. Family and friends were in abundance as Rose walked down the aisle to meet Alex and promise each other forever.

After the ceremony the barn was filled with so much joy as everyone began to celebrate the love and promise that Alex and Rose had just made. Eventually the celebration made its way through what was once a cow pasture to the back end of the field where the most beautiful reception took place. The large white peaked tent resembled a castle and was sprinkled with beautiful wooden tables. On top of the tables sat moss that they had harvested themselves on which flowers, ferns and candles were placed.

The reception was full of love and laughter, heartfelt speeches and an impressive demonstration of dance moves. After a delicious dinner guests were treated to a Ben and Jerry’s cart, as well as, the most amazing carrot cake cupcakes. It was an evening that no one wanted to see come to an end.

Rose had the sweetest first look with her Father before walking down the aisle with him!

Years ago, Bob painted the below heart on the barn for Mary. The morning of their wedding Alex did the same for Rose!
