We met at the Equinox Pond Trail Head in Manchester, Vermont and ventured through the woods to make the short trek over to the pond to capture Alex and Rose’s engagement pictures. The two of them met six years ago while they were both working for the Park Service at the Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore.

Rose was completely surprised when Alex proposed to her while they were living in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. He had planned a trip to Lake Superior to swim and upon getting out of the water he presented her with a wooden ring that he had hand crafted. They then shared lunch and champagne that Alex brought along to celebrate. I am so excited to kick off September with their wedding this fall!
